JULIA CAMPBELL BERNARDS

Julia is a licensed marriage and family therapist, researcher, writer, presenter, and mother of three LGBTQ+ identifying children, whom she passionately loves, accepts, and supports. Her PhD research at BYU focused on LDS parents’ process in coming to accept a transgender child. Through that research Julia was immersed in many families’ sacred stories, and she is dedicated to sharing their words and the understandings that came from them. She has given presentations around the state, appeared on the Listen, Learn and Love podcast, written on the blog TRANSformations, and she loves to work with LGBTQ+ individuals and their families in therapy.
