Lynell converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a young adult and served a mission to Minnesota in the mid-90’s. Lynell and her husband John have four gregarious daughters (ages 8 to 25), two of which identify as queer.

Lynell has a degree in Web Design & Development, with an emphasis on social media and website design. After a series of fortunate events, began working as the social media director for Lift+Love in 2021. She is also part of the Gather Conference Team.

She currently teaches adult Sunday School and is a stake seminary teacher. The Rogers family hosts a monthly Gathering study group in their area. You can often find Lynell drinking cherry Pepsi in her minivan while waiting for kids at a never-ending stream of practices and activities.
